I've been reading on a few blogs today about a new blog that's out that is taking pictures of blogger's children off their blogs and photoshopping them. I don't like that thought at all. I dont want pictures of my kids in other people's hands. I got to thinking about it, and I realized that's just what I'm doing. I am putting out pictures of my kids, and their names for ANYONE to see.
I used to think, "Well, its safer than taking them to the grocery store where someone could see them and follow us home."
But maybe not. So, I've decided that I'm going to take down all of the pictures of the kids, and go back to using aliases. I'm going to get working on that right away. You may think I'm overreacting or silly, but I can still blog great blogs while using an alias and not showing you pictures of my beautiful munchkins! ;)
On another note...the new project will be up and running VERY SOON!! Keep an eye on this blog for the update!

I'm thinking on taking Little Man's pics down...
It's very smart for you to take thier pics down. After watching a Criminal Minds episode about kids and internet plus my In laws working at a sex offender prison that's why I haven't put 'em up yet. I have been debating the aliases. I think it probably is the smartest thing to do. Isn't it sad that we have to worry about something like this?
I don't think it is overreacting... that being said, I'm not going to take my sons pictures down. It is part of my life, and my blog.
But, I do think that we have something to worry about, but I won't let it scare me. What site is it, do you know???
I think it is very sad that this is even an issue. I used to be a huge advocate for keeping my kids' pictures up...but now I just feel like I'd better be safe than sorry. But I dont think everyone should have to take them down...just do what feels right to you.
And no, I dont know the site. Just have read about it everywhere!!
